Website terms of use.

Terms for the OVRLab website, research material, and project information.

Last updated

This revision distinguishes the lab website from individual products and replaces the previous website-wide description of peer networking and messaging.

What these terms cover

These Terms of Use cover ovrlab.io, including its project pages, research summaries, illustrations, and other published material (the “Website”). The Website is operated by Jubba Cyber Services B.V., doing business as OVRLab (“we”, “us”), in the Netherlands.

OVRLab is a research lab working on AI and software systems. The Website presents our research and helps you find our projects, publications, software, and documentation.

Individual projects and products

Our work includes Sanad, PqP Network, SecretProxy, UltraNow, and OVRPay. Their project pages explain their purpose, current stage, and where to find further information.

Products, APIs, models, datasets, and downloadable software may have separate terms, licences, and privacy notices. Review the documents provided with the relevant offering before using it. Those documents govern that offering; this page does not replace a product agreement you have already accepted.

Browsing the Website does not enrol you in a peer network or authorise an AI agent to act on your behalf. These website terms do not create a subscription, service-level agreement, or support commitment.

Research, prototypes, and AI

We publish work in progress alongside information about available products. Research directions, prototypes, conceptual diagrams, and planned capabilities may change. A proposed feature or protocol is not a promise that it is available or will be released by a particular date.

Examples and research findings should be read with their stated assumptions, methods, and limitations. Assess whether code, models, or techniques described here are suitable for your intended use before relying on them.

AI systems can produce incorrect or incomplete outputs, including code. Verify outputs and use testing, access controls, and human oversight appropriate to the task. Describing an agent’s capabilities does not guarantee the correctness, security, or reliability of its actions.

Using and sharing our work

OVRLab and the relevant authors or licensors retain their rights in the Website’s text, illustrations, design, and branding. You may link to our pages and quote material to the extent permitted by applicable law or an accompanying licence. Please identify the source when doing so.

Software, model weights, datasets, and publications released under a separate licence remain governed by that licence. These terms do not narrow rights granted by an open-source or other licence, or rights provided by law. Material being publicly accessible does not by itself make it open source.

Use of our names or logos must not misleadingly suggest an endorsement, partnership, or affiliation.

Using the Website responsibly

You must not use the Website to:

  • Break applicable laws or infringe another person’s rights.
  • Introduce malware, gain unauthorised access, or bypass access controls.
  • Deliberately disrupt the Website or overload the infrastructure that serves it.
  • Impersonate OVRLab or misrepresent the source of our work.

We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address misuse, protect the Website, or comply with the law. If you discover a security issue, contact support@ovrlab.io.

Availability and responsibility

We take reasonable care with the Website, but its content may contain errors or become out of date. Access may be interrupted for maintenance, security work, or reasons outside our control. We do not promise uninterrupted access or that every research example will work in your environment.

Our responsibility for loss or damage is determined by applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, or removes mandatory consumer rights.

Changes to the Website and these terms

We may revise Website content as our research and projects develop. When we update these terms, we will publish the revised text here and change the “Last updated” date. We will identify material changes on this page and provide any additional notice required by law.

Changes apply prospectively. Updating this page does not amend a separate product agreement or remove rights that have already arisen.

Governing law and disputes

These website terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of mandatory protections under the law of your country of habitual residence where those protections apply.

Disputes may be brought before the courts competent under applicable law. Nothing in these terms restricts a consumer’s right to bring a claim before another court where the law gives them that right.

If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
